The Nukote Aegis System® ensures optimum lifespan of equipment, treatment, storage and transmission facilities for use with potable water, storm water, domestic wastewater, and industrial wastewater in applications like sanitary sewers, canals, penstocks, etc. The products utilized in these systems can vary, although the cutting-edge robotic technology used to apply them remains the same. With quick cure times, the ability to conform to the host culvert geometry, no VOCs, solvents, or styrenes, the spray applied linings offered by Superior are an excellent environmentally friendly option for culvert protection and/or rehabilitation. Our spray applied lining systems from Nukote have exceeded AWWA’s M28 lining standards for all classes including fully structural Class IV. This makes them an ideal solution for areas that are load bearing or where the culvert has corroded and is failing – in most cases it is far more cost effective to rehabilitate than to replace. Nukote’s patented composite lining technology is an excellent fit for protecting newly installed culverts or to rehabilitate older ones.
Advanced, high-performance polyurea coatings are increasingly finding a place in manhole rehabilitation due to their corrosion resistance and long-term effectiveness. With structural and anti-corrosion protective solutions for sanitary sewer or storm sewer applications, and an incredibly fast return to service, Nukote polyureas installed by Superior are exceptional for manhole rehabilitation applications. Polyurea coatings have many uses in wastewater facilities and applications. They are ideal for Primary and Secondary containment applications, immersed surfaces, and will resist hydrogen sulfide and chemicals used in wastewater treatment. These coatings offer a much longer service life, greater elasticity, and a much faster (therefore less expensive) application when compared to epoxies and trowel grade epoxy-cementitious compounds typically used in wastewater facilities. The polyurea coatings installed by Superior are recommended for use in many wastewater processes and can be used to protect wet wells, lift stations, digesters etc.
The Polyurea coatings we install are great for extending the life of older tanks or can be applied during primary construction. Polyurea minimizes downtime compared to most materials with its rapid cure time, and this makes it ideal for rehabilitation.
